Cairns Total Physio is a dynamic and progressive company made up of a dedicated team of skilled health professionals and support staff. Our therapists strive for excellence in client care by providing a caring environment to guide you towards your health goals.
We pride ourselves on a fresh and energetic approach to healthcare. Our therapists utilise the latest knowledge and skills, allowing us to offer effective, results-oriented and value for money service. Each therapist is skilled in all aspects of their health field and also hold additional qualifications in their special areas of interest.
Cairns Total Physio is owned and operated by Cairns locals, Tom Maher, Tim Lowcock and Carlos Castro. The business employs Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, and Remedial Massage Therapists across five locations in Cairns and the Tablelands. The team at Cairns Total Physio are all dedicated to optimising health, promoting active living and encouraging sport participation. They practice what they preach, by participating in a variety of sport endeavours and leading active, healthy lifestyles.
This purpose built, allied health hub was opened in June 2018, to meet demand and provide a world class private health facility for the public of Far North Queensland. The facility boasts 14 designated treatment spaces, 80m2 gym space containing quality fitness equipment and technology, such as the Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill and AxIT Performance testing equipment.
On the mezzanine level there is a designated group class space for Yoga and Pilates classes.
158 Mulgrave Road offers services from Cairns Total Physio such as Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, and Remedial Massage.
Also located at 158 Mulgrave Road are Health Management Dieticians. Conveniently located on Mulgrave Rd. across from the Show grounds Shopping Centre. There is ample parking onsite and wheelchair access

Located at the Smithfield Village Shopping Centre on Obrien Road, Cairns Total Physio – Smithfield has five clinical treatment spaces, and a 50m2 rehab gym. This bespoke clinic offers a range of services including Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Remedial Massage and has been in operation since August 2021.

Cairns Total Physio has been operating at the Redlynch Central Shopping Centre since January 2013, initially operating from the Redlynch Medical Centre. In April 2020, it expanded to meet demand, to its own shopfront in the Redlynch Shopping Centre. This custom fit out houses three treatment spaces for Physiotherapy and Remedial Massage services, whilst also containing a dedicated gym space, to enable prescription of exercise and development of exercise programs.

Cairns Total Physio – Edmonton is located inside the Balance! Edmonton Family Medical Centre at 5 Walker Road Edmonton. Led by Senior Physiotherapist, Sheryl Ocampo, who brings 20+ years of experience to the south side of Cairns. Off street parking is available onsite. Sheryl is available for all private musculoskeletal physiotherapy consults, she has a special interest in headaches, neck pain, lumbar/pelvis and hip. We accept CCMP, Workcover and NDIS.
