Susan Crockford is a Remedial Massage Therapist working across our Westcourt and Smithfield clinics at Cairns Total Physio since 2023
Susan holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Clinical Aromatherapy (2022). She provides professional, evidenceโinformed massage therapy within a multidisciplinary allied health environment, supporting patients with muscular tension, pain and stressโrelated concerns.
Clinically, Susan commonly supports people experiencing:
- Muscular tension and generalised muscle pain
- Lower back pain
- Neck and shoulder tension
- Stressโrelated physical symptoms
- Lymphatic congestion and related discomfort
Susan takes a balanced technical and holistic approach to remedial massage. She tailors each session to the individual, combining skilled handsโon techniques with empathy and clear communication to address each personโs needs on the day.
Where appropriate, Susan may incorporate movement guidance and stretching strategies to complement handsโon treatment and support longerโterm improvements in comfort and mobility.
Outside of the clinic, Susan enjoys cooking, travelling and writing fiction for both children and adults.
