Senior Physiotherapist

Physiotherapist working at our Redlynch clinic at Cairns Total Physio.

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy and graduated in 2002. She is registered with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. With over two decades of clinical experience, Victoria brings a depth of knowledge and a considered, evidenceโ€‘based approach to musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Clinically, Victoria commonly supports people presenting with:

  • Neck pain and stiffness
  • Postural pain and movement dysfunction
  • Knee pain, including ligament injuries, patellofemoral pain and meniscal injuries
  • Shoulder pain, including rotator cuff injuries and instability
  • Pre- and post-operative rehabilitation following knee and shoulder surgery
  • Sports-related injuries and return to activity planning
  • Functional and mobility challenges for NDIS participants

Victoria takes a personalised and thorough approach to physiotherapy, focusing on identifying the underlying contributors to pain and movement issues rather than treating symptoms alone. Through detailed subjective assessment and biomechanical evaluation of posture, gait and movement patterns, she develops individualised treatment plans tailored to each personโ€™s needs and goals.

Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy techniques, including dry needling where appropriate, alongside targeted exercise, strength training and movement retraining. Education is a key part of Victoriaโ€™s approach, supporting patients to better understand their condition and build confidence in their movement over time.

Victoria utilises a range of assessment and rehabilitation tools, including movement and gait analysis, strength and functional testing, and gym-based rehabilitation programs. Where suitable, she also integrates resistance training and Pilates-based principles to support recovery, performance and long-term wellbeing.

Outside of the clinic, Victoria is a busy mum of two sporty boys. She enjoys staying active through gym classes and reformer Pilates and spending time outdoors on walks with her dog.
